Enrolment options
This module is designed to introduce students to the definitions, history, and evolution of
advertising, as well as advertising theory and its practical application via traditional and
digital media channels. It emphasizes the regulations governing ethical advertising practice
and its role in shaping values and cultures. The teaching approach is a hybrid learning
approach including lectures, workshops, directed study, seminars, and virtual learning,
supported by case studies and a 'live' commercial project.
